What a blast!
Shooting with Ian from In The Booth was so much fun and we had some serious laughs before the day was over.
I caught up with the Ian to ask him a few questions about his unique business and if you’d love to know more about what makes him tick – read on.
The Interview
Tilly: Tell us a bit about your business?
Ian: In the Booth is the entertainment epi-centre of your event! Our Australian-made booths include unlimited photo, video, Gif, Slo-Mo and our exclusive Guest Cam experiences. Our free app allows guests to instantly download their photo booth fun to their device. All inclusive packages mean you won’t have to worry about a thing. If your guests aren’t on the dance floor, we guarantee you’ll find them ‘in the booth’!
Tilly: Who do you love to help and why?
Ian: I help a range of people. From the ultimate party starter at the work Christmas party, couples on their wedding day, students at their school event or the birthday boy or girl we cover a large range of events. I love building the story in the guest book, or ensuring the baby is looking at the camera and the backdrop is hanging just right so each photo is just perfect (or perfectly imperfect) every time.
Tilly: What is your favourite part of what you do?
Ian: Capturing “that moment” of absolute pure joy or hearing those giggles so loud the room all turns to see what’s going on!
Tilly: What is your most popular service or product?
Ian: I just do photobooths and do them well. The favourite part of the In The Booth experience is our Guest Cam. Using the free In The Booth App you and your guests can upload photos and they will print right here at the booth. Think disposable camera but instant print…. Or Polaroid but high quality…. No shaking required.
Tilly: Where can we stalk, er follow, you?

Tilly: Where can we book you?

About The Shoot
Tilly: Which is your favourite image from your most recent Oh Tilly shoot?
Ian: This was a microsecond of me being silly but it was captured
Tilly: What was your favourite part or aspect of the shoot?
Ian: I received a sneak peak of images much faster than expected. It’s hard to feel comfortable in front of the camera but Tilly helped immensely.
Tilly: What words of advice do you have for other businesses looking to have branding photos?
Ian: 1. Prepare some ideas well before your shoot. 2. Share these ideas with your photographer. 3. Trust in your photographer, they are the professional.
I am sure anyone who has attended an event with Ian there (and there have been many of them!) will agree that Ian is a fun and very professional guy to have around. Any party with In The Booth is a great party.
